We went back over to Torazo Koi Farm as they were doing a Senbetsu to provide Tosai for the ZNA Carolina grow out. Homare was all tuckered out...

I did not take a look at the Tosai as it was discovered that I forgot to leave the shipping boxes for Sekiguchi in the trunk of my car. so, the new plan became getting some more of these "boxes" and then I would head back out to Sekiguchi Koi Farm.

I made a video of the drive up to Yamakoshi, and back, to show how many breeders there are in such a small area. I am not a professional, like Marlon at Trinity-Star Koi, so the videos are long and raw. I do announce the breeders as we drive by...

Just to give you an idea, the shipping boxes needed for this time of year are styrofoam, and quite large. This is why I volunteered to take them back to Sekiguchi.

I also want to point out that I only had two of these styrofoam boxes in my trunk and we actually needed three. I was going to be going back anyway even had I not forgotten to leave the other two. It gave me an excuse to get the flag signed.

It's been couple of really busy days and I am behind in posting. Yesterday, in the morning we drove out to Teradomari, and in the afternoon selected Tosai from a Senbetsu for the ZNA Carolina grow out. The Tosai are fro Torazo. Throw in the fact that JR, from RNR Koi, is now here and you have no time to sit down and post.

Teradomari is located on the coast of the Sea of Japan. We had been having great, sunny weather, so I was hoping to go along the coast but it rained the whole day yesterday.

Even though there are now quite a few breeders doing GR Gosanke, much of it is exceptional, Teradomari has his own type of GR and I do feel it is the best. His Parent Koi are very large and the GR looks just as bright and shiny on them as it does on his Tosai. Here are a few of the pcs. I picked up.
