A tub is set up where the Tosai are put into and then I put what I am interested in into another tub.

As I fill the tub Homare then has the fun job of determining if they are male or female. The males go back and the females go into another tub.

Three hundred Showa, and two hours later, I came up with 12 female Showa 30-35cm.

After finishing up at Isa I had to stop by Torazo Koi Farm. I got there just in time to watch the sign coming down. There was a small group of well wishers watching with me...

Today was a rather easy day. We went to Murata Koi Farm in the morning.

Today I had an early start and went out to Sekiguchi Koi Farm. I was surprised when I typed in the GPS and found that it had an aerial view of his farm. I have been going for years so I really don't need GPS but I figured it give you all an idea of where everything is. I think it will get to the point where you can find all the breeders this way. When I started out you had to have a guide.
