Torazo was the last stop of the day and I must say the Tosai offered have been the best I have seen this time off year. I was very happy with the choices.

It really doesn't get much better...not at these prices and for this time of year.

I forgot that Sakazume was between Tanaka and Torazo. I haven't been to Sakazume since my first Covid trip to Japan. These Tosai have improved as well. On the whole the group of Tosai I picked up were 8"-9" but a few were smaller and a few larger. There was a nice variety of Hariwake, Beni Kikokuryu, Mukashi Ogon, Heisei Nishiki (Doistu Metakllic Sanke), Goromo and a few others.

We decided to come to Tokyo for the AJKS yesterday, not because we could get in today but, because all of the breeders came yesterday which means we would just sit around Ojiya doing nothing. That meant we had a day off today.

I started off the day doing some work on my laptop for several hours and then we all decided to go out. After about an hour we found ourselves feeding the street chickens.

We then decided to get into a car and drive to some tourist attractions. We went to the Tokyo fish market, which I didn't see the point of, but Marlon and JR seemed to enjoy. Sorry but I did not take any pictures. We got back into the car and typed in "tourist attractions" in the GPS again, a choice was made, and 40 minutes later we found ourselves sitting infant of Tokyo Disney. No, we did not realize what we had chosen was Tokyo Disney. No pictures...but it was now 2pm-ish, I think, and we decided to keep going.

We drove up the coast for quite a while and found an amazing spot.We found an old fishing village, still being used, and walked out on the pier to see this.

We didn't really like having the metal structure b locking the view of Mt. Fuji so we found a path that took us around the peninsula and discovered the views we were looking for.
