We made a quick trip to Marudo Koi Farm. He was running low on Tosai but it was worth the trip anyway.

Today we drove out to see my favorite GR breeder Teradomari. We had been discussing this for days as he had told Yuki that he didn't have a lot of Tosai. He was trying to convince her to let him come in to her farm (Torazo Koi Farm) with a video to show me what he had so that I could decide if it was worth driving out there. I told her that I would go out no matter what and that he didn't have to come in. It took some convincing, as he is just that nice, and I am glad we got to go.

Once inside we found out that he had taken the time to go through all of his available Tosai and pick out the very best for me. They were is baskets waiting. He asked if I wanted to select from what he selected or take them all. A quick look told me taking them all was an easy choice. They are very nice. The video goes blurry after I focus on the Tosai but you can see them for a bit.

Today we went to Takahashi. I have been to Takahashi a couple of times before but the last time I went was almost three years to the day. I had just invested in a new camera and it "met" water at his facility. It ended well as the camera worked, on and off, for the rest of that trip and it was repaired when I returned. It is still being used today.
