Tomorrow I drive to Tokyo for the All Japan Koi Show so today I drove back into Ojiya for a little more Koi hunting. It has been snowing, with very few breaks, almost constantly for three days now. The water pipes, in the streets of Nagaoka, are doing a good job of keeping things slushy so that the roads are drive able. There are some areas where tge sniw turns to ice and, if deep enough, will catch just about anything.

When I drove through Nagaoka it looked like the weather wouldn’t be too bad but, as I got out of the city, it got worse.

I visited Kobayashi, normally Showa, Shiro Utsuri and some Kawarimono, and picked up a few Kujaku, a single Shiro and Kawarimono. I was surprised.

I stopped by the store for 20 minutes and you can see how much snow fell.

It was about 3pm and I headed back to my hotel in Nagaoka, which is about 10 miles, but it took sometime in the snow. BTW, I did clean all of the snow off of the car windows and roof before I started driving again.
