This trip is not going to happen exactly as the title describes. There isn’t enough room in the title to outline the trip as this is going to be the longest trip I have taken to Japan to buy Koi. I leave on October 7th and don’t come back until November 6th.
When I arrive, I will be by myself, I will head to Ojiya for about 8 days. My first full day in Ojiya will be October 9th. I am arriving early to be able to go to more Ikeage events and possibly a greater choice in what is available. I plan to provide more pictures and videos of these events than in the past and hope to be able to go with more breeders than usual. We will see.
On the 16th of October I head back to Narita airport to pick up Hugomizz and Marilyn. We will then fly directly to Hiroshima for four days, then back to Ojiya for five days where we will attend the Matsunsosuke harvest and then on to Isawa for a couple of days.
Hugo and Marilyn will fly home on October 28th and I will drive back to Ojiya to attend the Nogyosai Koi Show and do some more Koi hunting. I will then fly back to Hiroshima for the final three days of my trip.
